Secure your Project Management
The Scheduling, Management, and Coordination training program is designed for professionals who wish to learn or improve their skills in monitoring and coordinating work on a building and civil engineering construction site.
Over the course of two days, you will learn how to structure your project’s schedule, organize the work of the various stakeholders, and coordinate the work to meet the project’s deadlines.
The OPC role involves overseeing the entire construction site in collaboration with the project manager and the various contractors. It enables you to structure the planning, manage interfaces between contractors, and monitor the progress of the work to minimize schedule delays.

Identify scheduling and sequencing methods and structure the construction work programme. Break down activities, develop a logic network and establish the schedules required for effective project control.
Identify the roles and responsibilities of OPC (Scheduling, Project Control and Coordination) throughout each project phase: design, procurement, site preparation, construction, pre-handover inspections and handover of the works.
Prepare and lead OPC meetings with the various project stakeholders. Track actions, coordinate interfaces and support project teams in maintaining the construction schedule.
Monitor site progress, analyse variances between planned and actual progress, and identify corrective actions. Update the schedule and anticipate potential impacts on project deadlines.
Assess the workload and resources required for the OPC role. Organise and monitor pre-handover inspections (OPR) through to the handover of the works, in coordination with the various project stakeholders.
